Benzinga Pro - live news via Squawk audio and searching for specific stock related news
Excel - spreadsheet to quickly calculate shares and risk for trades
Journalling
Microsoft OneNote - I use this to save screenshots and notes of annotated charts. Another alternative is EverNote
TraderVue - Excellent trading journal that provides many useful statistics. You can import all your trades by exporting trade extracts from most brokers. This is part of my daily routine to tag and review trades, as well as further analysis of results after every week and month.
Kinfo - Another trading journal that has a social leaderboard feature where you can see trades shared by other people. Automatically syncs with a variety of brokers and provides some useful statistics.
